Pana atunci, insa, iata ce ne-a declarat in super interviul luat in exclusivitate, de catre noi, echipa Star Gossip:

1. You are known as the youngest pop opera singer, but still your voice can be applied to many musical styles. Why did you choose to sing pop opera? Haven’t you been afraid of the difficulties to enter the showbiz world by choosing this musical style?

I chose lyric-pop because it’s the musical genre I like to sing the most. Towards the showbiz world, all I have to say is that it’s not in order to get into it that I decided to be singer but by truthful passion for music and singing !

2. Your song is one of the best quoted at the European bet house for this year’s Eurovision. Still, what feelings does it give you to be the representant of your country at Dusseldorf?

It’s a true honor for me to represent my country at Eurovision Song Contest this year. I hope I’ll be up to this challenge !

3. “Sognu” is a special song, tell us a bit more about its story, its message and its composers.

Sognu was written by Jean-Pierre Marcellesi and composed by Daniel Moyne and Quentin Bachelet. It tells the story of the difficulty experienced by a man to find again the love of his life once she left you. It also describes the importance of the memories she left him and the difficulty to get rid of the past in order to look up to your future. It’s a cry of love !

4. Aren’t you afraid of participating with this kind of song at a musical contest like Eurovision?

Not at all. I’m not afraid to take part to this contest with this kind of song because if I had chosen to sing in another music genre that wasn’t mine, I would never take so much pleasure as I will on May the 14th !

5. Eurovision has become over years a political contest. Do you think that nowadays it is more important to have political and financiar power than vocal and musical strength?

I don’t care about what’s being said about the Eurovision Song Contest. I just prepare myself to represent France the best I can so I can show Europe our musical richness. I’m convinced that winning the Eurovision can’t be achieved without being talented. Therefore, I don’t feel concerned about the political aspect or the rumors, otherwise what’s the point to participate ?

6. What are your future plans after the moment Dusseldorf 2011?

After the Eurovision, I plan to prepare my third album and to continue the promotion tour of the second one !
A bunch of concerts are already scheduled.

7. Have you listened the other countries’ songs? If it weren’t for your song, which do you think has the most chances to become the winning song this year in Eurovision?

To be honest, I’ve only focused on my own preparation so far. So, I didn’t listen to my opponents.

8. How do you see pop opera developing in the future? What advice would you give to someone who choose to start a career with pop opera genre?

I’d like Lyric-pop to get more popular among the general public. I’d like it to be heard more and more ! The advice I can give to someone who’d like to start a career in that musical genre is to be filled with ambition, to work on your voice and interpretation, not to give up on anything and finally to be open to advices ! Some of them are really useful. But there is no magic recipe and chance plays without any doubt an important part. However, as it’s often said : “Hard work leads to everything !”

9. How far do you know about Romania by now? Share a message for our readers and your Romanian admirers!

No, I never came to Romania, but my cousin who’s from Romania told me a lot about his country. Therefore, I’m really looking forward to visit this country and to sing over there ! I’d like to say to my fans a big thank you for their support, it’s very important for any artist and especially for me !

Iata si traducerea in romana a interviului:

7. Ai ascultat piesele celorlalte tari participante? Daca nu ar fi piesa ta, ce piesa crezi ca are sansele cele mai mari de a castiga Eurovisionul din acest an?

Sa fiu sincer, m-am concentrat doar asupra pregatirii personale.

8. Cum vezi tu dezvoltarea stilului pop-opera in viitor?

We thank you, Amaury for this interview and we wish you to have big luck on the Eurovision final of 14 May!
