Noi ii uram succes!
Iar pana atunci iata ce ne-a declarat Daria intr-un nou interviu in exclusivitate, din seria celor prezentate de catre Star Gossip, in jurul celui mai important eveniment muzical european:

1. Hy Daria! First of all, we know that you have taken musical studies for a long time. Do you think that a person with such studies may have a greater success and that people will learn to make a difference between the real talented artists and the ones who are only gifted by nature?

Yes, I studied music and vocal exercises, and I think it makes the interpretation of a song easier. There are some vocal technics you have to know in order to save your voice and to get a higher vocal range without loosing your voice. But I am sure that there has to be a natural talent too to have any kind of success. So for me it doesn’t make a difference between studied and natural talented voices.

2. You have been chosen as this year Croatian representant during a show of 4 hours. How did you feel competing with Jacques and what were your feelings at the end of it?

Yes, that’s right. The audience had chosen me to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Songcontest 2011. I still can’t believe it. When they proclaimed my name I felt like „what? Really? This must be a mistake“! I couldn’t believe that it was me. My first reaction was, they will immediately tell us: „sorry we made a mistake“. So you can imagine how excited I was and I’m really happy that I got the chance to represent Croatia this year. This is a great honor for me. Jacques is an awesome singer and I love his songs. Furthermore he is well-known and really a star in Croatia. I am a new face and nobody expected my win. So I have to thank my voters and fans for their support! I am lucky! ?

3. What is your impression about last year Croatian performance at Oslo and the band
Feminnem? Did they teach you some lessons about how to be this year in Dusseldorf?

I watched ESC – television last year and of course Feminnem. They impressed me very much with their song „Lako je sve“ and I think they didn’t make any mistake of presenting their song. It was just bad luck that they haven’t passed the semi final. I had the opportunity to meet them and we got to know each other, although we hadn’t much time to talk.

4. We know that throughout years you passed among a series of musical styles. Which of them do you consider to represent you the most?

At the age of 11 I started to take singing lessons, first Musical lessons and afterwards modern pop-singing. So I spent much time on Musical songs and their interpretations, although my prefered direction is modern music, so called pop music in the style of Beyoncé and other famous pop singers. Through all competitions I got the chance to sing great songs of Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Beyoncé and so on. Now I decided to go this way, too.

5. Your song has passed through a series of changes, the last of them being the title. Why did you choose in the end to have the song called “Celebrate’?

First of all there were many negative reactions about the title of the song “Break a leg“. Many people did not understand the real meaning, they thought I am singing about breaking my leg. ? So the composer decided to take an other title and I have to say, that the new lyrics and the title „Celebrate“ is much better and an excellent choice for the Eurovision Songcontest. When I heard “Celebrate” I knew: that’s it! ? The lyrics of the song describe the beginning of a weekend and it gives a hint to celebrate our lifes. That’s what we should do!

6. What can you tell us about the promoting video of this year Croatian’s song?

We hadn’t much time to make the video, because we were all really busy and working on the new lyrics. Furthermore we had to record the song in English and in Croatian language. So there wasn’t much time left to finish the video. Therefore I’m very satisfied with the product and I think it’s a nice video especially for young people who like to celebrate and go out on weekends.

7. What is your high expectation on this years’s Dusseldorf stage of Eurovision?

I am well aware, that there will be a fierce competition. There are beautiful songs, perfect singers, also a lot of excellent choreographies – so it will be very difficult to reach even the finale, but I will do my best!

8. How will your show look alike?

We are still working on the choreography and the whole show. So at the moment I can’t really say what we will present, but I hope the audience will like it!

9. What is your favourite song among the songs of the other countries?

I favour many songs, like the German and Austrian song, the song of Bosnia Herzegowina is really interesting. Furthermore the Russian song is well and for sure the Romanian song „ Change “! Especially the lyrics moved me.

10. Share a message for all our readers and your Romanian admirers!

I would like to thank all readers and of course my Romanian admirers for supporting me! It makes me really happy. I would be very glad, if I get the chance to give a concert in Romania as soon as possible. I’ve never been to Romania, but I heard that it is a very nice country with very nice people! 🙂 Hope to see you soon!

Traducerea in romana a interviului:

1. Buna, Daria!

Am petrecut mult timp in jurul musicalului si interpretarii sale, desi directia mea preferata era muzica moderna, asa numitul pop, in stilul lui Beyonce si al altor artisti renumiti.

Mai mult a trebuit sa reinregistram piesa atat in engleza cat si in croata.

9. Care este piesa ta favorita in randul celorlalte piese participante?

Imi plac multe piese, piesa Germaniei, a Austriei, piesa Bosniei – Hertegovina este foarte interesanta. Piesa Rusiei este foarte buna si evident, piesa Romaniei, “Change”. M-au impresionat mult versurile ei.

Thank you very much, Daria Kinzer, for sharing with us this interview, we wish you all the best on the Eurovision stage and we are looking forward to meet you in Romania!
